I'm sure with this title you're expecting some magic wisdom that will help you become a best seller or write a crazy amount of words on the page. I have no such magic wisdom to offer. I do have a little advice, though. Something that's been very helpful to me. Prayer. Pray for guidance - on which story to pick next, on how to market, on how to pitch, on whether or not to do a conference, on what editor, agent or publisher will be best for you to work with, etc. Will the answers be instant? Probably not. And hearing the answers will require you quieting yourself so you can listen. But I do have to admit that when I do so I waste less money and time going in the wrong direction - and I unlock the door to treasures I never could have imagined.
